MG University Online Application for Transcript [New Process]

Transcript

Due to COVID19, MG University has now launched an online application process for official transcript requests. If you require a transcript for completing WES education assessment then continue reading to understand the new process.

Note: WES has recently started asking for re-verification of Degree Certificate after submitting the transcript. Hence, “Guinness verification of Degree Certificate” is also required at a later stage. To save time, you can apply for Guinness verification of Degree Certificate along with the transcript and same send to WES to avoid future delays. Documents required for application

  • Scanned self-attested copies of the following(Max size: 500KB):-
    • 10th certificate or SSLC book
    • 12th or Plus II Certificate
    • Provisional certificate or UG/PG Degree certificate as applicable.
    • Consolidated mark list /grade cards (This should be your last sem Grade card which has mark list for all sems)
    •  For WES/IQAS: A duly filled in Academic Records Request Form to be forwarded to WES/ IQAS with the transcript. Hence, the student is directed to fill up the top portion of the form and put his /her signature at the appropriate column (if applicable).

Fees and other charges

  • Fee for Official Transcript of Marks/Grade points: Rs. 2100/- per copy.
  • Search fee: as shown below:
    • Within one year of publication of result: Nil.
    • After One year of publication of result, but before 5 years: Rs.55/-
    • After 5 year of publication of result, but before 10 years: Rs.105/-
    • After 10 year of publication of result: Rs.265/-
  • Transmission charges are applicable as shown below:
    • Transmission charge(within India): Rs.80/-
    • Transmission charge(Outside India): Rs.420/-
    • Express(Speed) post charges (outside India): Rs.2100/-

How to apply online for Transcript?

  1. Visit https://application.mgu.ac.in/
  2. In the Choose Your Service drop-down select APPLICATION FOR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
  3. Scroll down and fill Academic Details as applicable for your course. Note: For Btech select Study Type: Professional/Courses with Fee variation

4. Enter your Contact Details and address to which transcript needs to be sent. For WES, ensure you enter WES address in Address to which the document to be send.

5. Enter Additional Information if any and select applicable option for Where to send the documents and mode of transmission.

6. Upload scanned copies of required documents.

7. Complete Disclaimer and Enter Captcha and click Register

8. You will receive an OTP on your email. Enter OTP and continue

9. Total Fee will be displayed. Click on Proceed to Payment.

10. Complete the payment online to submit the application.

How to contact University and check the status of your application? 

Once you submit the application it takes up to 3 weeks to process your application. In case of any issues, University will contact you. However, if you wish to contact the university to know the status of your application click on the below link to get contact details for each section. You will need to contact the section for your corresponding course and college.

  1. Have a doubt about the self attestation!
    1.Should i attest all the certificates i mean sslc, plus two , grade card and provisional certificate?
    2. For the re-verification stage, should i attest my degree certificate to upload?

    1. Just transcript is enough. But WES has started asking for re-verification of Degree certificate as well. So best to apply Transcript + Genuinuess verification of Degree Certificate.

  2. I have paid Transmission charge(Outside India): Rs.420/- for my transcript application for WES.
    Is it possible to modify it to Express(Speed) post charges (outside India): Rs.2100/- on my current application ?

    1. I had the same issue but university contacted me via email as i havent paid the entire fee for genuiness verification of mark list. So i just paid INR 2100 and the balnce amount for GV of marklist. Hope they will change my post from normal to speed.

    Thank you for very helpful information . I have a question regarding Consolidated Mark List application ,
    The application guidelines says ” Self attested copies of Grade Cards of each semester have to be uploaded as single document, that is, first appearance followed by subsequent reappearance, if any, in their chronological order.” and ” Each scanned document should be uploaded in jpeg format with image size each not more than 500 KB.” . The site accepts only Image files . Can you please guide me in understanding how can I submit all 8 semester minimalist ( +appearance ) as image file . Or is there any way ?

  4. I dont have consolidated mark list for B tech. In this case if i want to apply onlne for transcript, do i have to apply first the consolidated mark list and wait till that comes to apply for transcript again ? or is there way to apply it together online.

  5. WES Academic form has a Student ID to be filled. Is it the same as Roll Number for BTech? In Bcom and MCom certificates, Student ID and Roll Numbers are different. But for BTech certificate I could not find any student Id.

  6. I had applied for the transcript by following the mentioned online link. I had successfully uploaded the certificates and had done the payment, after the payment I got a blank screen and haven’t received any confirmation mail yet. The amount is also debited from my account..can someone help me with this

    I have done all the process as per the instructions above and have done the payment. But I haven’t received any confirmation mail regarding the payment, the page appeared blank after my payment. The amount was withdrawn from my account. Is there any way you can help me here, really appreciated.

    I had applied for the transcript after reading your article and followed the mentioned online link. I did all steps successfully and submitted all documents and fee. After that I also got confirmation email for successfully submission and application number. My application number is 12876. I am little confuse about the process time. I have also written a email to concern department, but I didn’t get any response. Could you please anyone able to help me or if anyone know the deadline or any direct contact number of staff then please help in this regards.

    1. Usually, it takes 3 weeks for the university to process your application and another 3-4 weeks for India post to deliver it to WES. You can check the status by contacting the university helpline number at the bottom of the article and they should be able to connect you to the right department.

  9. Anyone know the Phone number of Btech – Mechanical office section to follow up with the transcripts application for WES.

    It seems they dont reply to emails, neither couldn’t find the number from the list provided here.

  10. Hi, I have done all the payment regarding WES documents about 2 months ago ,but its not processed and I keep receiving mail from WES, Canada as waiting for the response from University. Can I please get the guidance, so that I can contact the correct department to know the status.

    was failed and re-taken or if marks from an earlier examination or attempt appear on a later statement of
    marks.”

    Will the transcript provided by university will have details of each year seperately or a consolidated one?

        If I opt for “Genuniess verification of each marklist,. will i get marklist of each year attested by university?

    Kindly advice on below application for Transcript of grade / Mark points

    * I have uploaded images of my Certificates without Self attestation
    * When the form got resubmitted due to website timeout: “Where do you want to send the documents?” status got updated to Inside India in error It was supposed to be outside India.

    Can I modify my current submission?
