Guinness verification of Degree Certificate (optional)
WES also require a color copy of your degree certificate send by you apart from transcript from University. However, recently WES has started asking for re-verification of Degree Certificate send by the candidate due to increased fraud. In order to complete the re-verification, University will ask to apply for “Guinness verification of Degree Certificate”. To reduce the chance of WES asking for re-verification and save time later, you can apply for Guinness verification of Degree Certificate along with the transcript and same send to WES instead of you sending the copy of the certificate.
To know more about WES secondary verification please check out our other article.

Hi , I am planning to do my ECA and the concern people asked me to send all the documents from university to WES. I would like to know few things regarding the procedures hope you guys can an overall idea.
1) Is this process can be done through online
2) Regarding the documents.., I need to add both Degree n Masters certificates isn’t it ??So How can I get the individual transcripts for both degrees ?? Procedure for getting this can be done differently only right , hence how these both transcript go all together to WES ??? Please respond
Yes, thats why we published this article. You need to apply for both separately. Each course is handled by different departments at the University.
That means , Once I apply for the both transcripts , University will be sending it all together to WES … Isn’t it ???
They may not send it together. Each course is handled by different departments and processing time will be different. So it will be sent separately to WES.
Hello Sir,
My I am a former student of St. Berchmans College, Changanacherry with graduation in 2019. I am presently in Canada and am looking into immigration procedures here. As part of the process, I have been instructed to provide ECAs from World Educational Services (WES). I have read the instructions on the official website of MG University and understood that the online application for the service is not available for students from autonomous colleges. As St. Berchmans College is an autonomous institution, it would be very helpful if you could instruct me on how to move forward with the issue and complete my application. Hoping for a positive response
Online process not available for Autonomous and off-campus students. These students are advised to contact eneraltapaladmn@mgu.ac.in, tapal1@mgu.ac.in for the postal process.
I have sent emails to both the addresses. But unfortunately, have not received any replies as of yet.
Try calling the university.
Hi I did apply for official transcript for WES in the month March . I still haven’t received an update regarding this . University is working with 50% staffs read the comments still applications placed recently have been processed. Just want to know if i need to place a new application because this is getting crazy
I would suggest contacting the university section that is handling you application. Refer https://mkerala.com/how-to-contact-mg-university-and-know-status-of-application/
Hi, I submitted my application for transcript on April 15th April and it was send from the University to IQAS on 22nd April 2021. Due to suspension of flights from India to Canada because of Corona, my transcript is stuck in Delhi post office for the last 3 months. I checked with IQAS on alternatives and the said an email directly from the registrar of university attaching an electronic copy of my true transcript will be sufficient. Kindly let me know if such a copy can be send to the IQAS via mail ? It will be a great help if that can be done. My higher education is getting delayed solely because of this reason.
The online option is only for sending transcript via postal. I would suggest applying for transcript again and this time use express post(speed post).
