Guinness verification of Degree Certificate (optional)

WES also require a color copy of your degree certificate send by you apart from transcript from University. However, recently WES has started asking for re-verification of Degree Certificate send by the candidate due to increased fraud. In order to complete the re-verification, University will ask to apply for “Guinness verification of Degree Certificate”. To reduce the chance of WES asking for re-verification and save time later, you can apply for Guinness verification of Degree Certificate along with the transcript and same send to WES instead of you sending the copy of the certificate.

  • How long it will take to process & receive official transcripts. (Online application)
It’s been 2 weeks since I applied and there is no response from them yet.

    Reply
    • It takes 3 weeks for the university to process and another 3 weeks for postal to reach WES. So it can take more than a month.

      Reply
      • Considering MG university’s past records, i think it would take merely 2 months and considering the current situation even more. When i called University they told minimum 2 months we have to wait. So the time we can’t confirm in anyway.

        • 2 Months ? Did they mention two months specifically for “online application” or in general ?

  • I see a reply for the consolidated mark sheet. Its says I can scan all the marksheets in one pdf. Does it has to be color one or the black and white will work?

    Reply
    • If you are scanning the document, then it would be color by default.

      Reply
      • Oh yes. I mean when we take a print out of the marksheets is it ok be black and white?

        Reply
        • You don’t need to take printout or photocopies for the online process. They expect the copies to be in colour to verify its copies of the original document.

          Reply
          • I have already applied for the transcript for WES. All the copies scanned in colour but the maximum size of the file can be uploaded is limited to 500 KB. It was not possible to meet the criteria of file size maximum 500 KB. After resizing the files, all documents are uploaded in black and White.

          • It might be okay, in case of any problem university will contact you. You can use online resize tool to shirk the size of the files next time.
